After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)
(a) w/o Seat Position Memory System:
*a | Protruding Part | - | - |
(1) Install the front seat belt anchor plate.
(2) Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH with the nut.
Torque:
42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}
NOTICE:
Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding part of the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
(3) Engage each clamp.
(b) w/ Seat Position Memory System:

(1) Install the front seat belt anchor plate.
(2) Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH with the nut.
Torque:
42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}
NOTICE:
Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding part of the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
(3) Engage each clamp.
2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)
(a) w/o Occupant Classification System:

(2) Install the front seat inner belt assembly RH with the nut.
Torque:
42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}
NOTICE:
Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly RH to overlap the protruding part of the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
(3) Engage each clamp.
(b) w/ Occupant Classification System:

NOTICE:

(3) Engage each clamp.
(4) Connect the connector.
