Tightening torque for "Major areas involving basic Toyota Prius vehicle performance such as moving/turning/stopping": N*m (kgf*cm, ft.*lbf)

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(1) Temporarily install the child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

(2) Install the child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

19.5 N·m {199 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf}

HINT:

Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(1) Temporarily install the child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

(2) Install the child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

19.5 N·m {199 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf}

HINT:

Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

(3) Engage the clamp.
