PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHT ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY) (for Center)

(a) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the No. 2 instrument panel light assembly (No. 2 instrument panel garnish sub-assembly) and check that the light illuminates.

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

K95-5 ( B) → Auxiliary battery positive( )

K95-2 (ILL1), 3 (ILL3), 4 (ILL2) and 1 (E) → Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Ambient light illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 2 instrument panel light assembly (No. 2 instrument panel garnish sub-assembly).

2. INSPECT NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHT ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY) (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the No. 2 instrument panel light assembly (No. 2 instrument panel garnish sub-assembly) and check that the light illuminates.
