REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
(a) for HFC-134a (R134a):

(b) for HFO-1234yf (R1234yf):

2. REMOVE PIPING CLAMP (for Suction Hose Sub-assembly Side)
(a) While pressing the end of the suction hose sub-assembly into the end of the suction pipe sub-assembly, use pliers to squeeze together both sides of the piping clamp until it breaks apart.

NOTICE:
(b) Disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly.
NOTICE:
Remove any foreign matter from the connecting parts of the suction hose sub-assembly and suction pipe sub-assembly.
(c) Remove the 2 O-rings from the suction hose sub-assembly.
NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts with vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
(d) Remove the piping clamp.
3. REMOVE PIPING CLAMP (for Air Conditioning Tube And Accessory Assembly Side)

INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL PIPING CLAMP (for Suction Hose Sub-assembly Side)
(a) Remove the vinyl tape from the suction pipe sub-assembly and suction hose sub-assembly.
(b) Install a new piping clamp to the suction hose sub-assembly. NOTICE:

(c) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surfaces of the suction hose sub-assembly.
Compressor Oil:
ND-OIL 11 or equivalent
(d) Install the 2 O-rings to the suction hose sub-assembly.
NOTICE:
Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free from dirt and foreign matter.
(e) Align the alignment marks and connect the suction pipe sub-assembly and suction hose sub-assembly. NOTICE: Connect the parts by holding the tubes, not the piping clamp. |

(f) Securely insert the piping clamp to the point where the large diameter section of the piping clamp is covered by the suction pipe sub-assembly. NOTICE:
